NON-PROFIT ORGANISATION / FOUNDER

WOMEN & CHILDREN EMBASSY FOUNDATION

The Women & Children Embassy is a non-profit organisation founded in 2012 who participate in the global eradication of malaria in the new decade.

About half of the world’s population live in areas with high rates of Malaria. Malaria is a disease of the poor and targets the most vulnerable populations. What is most troubling is that, when proper medication is available, Malaria is entirely preventable. The Women and Children Embassy Foundation is embarking upon the challenge of providing medication to the worldwide fight against this disease.

Malaria keeps more children out of school than any other disease.  Many children who survive Malaria may suffer from learning impairments or brain damage.

It is also major cause of perinatal mortality.  Malaria puts pregnant women at high risk of dying from complications and can also cause spontaneous abortion, premature delivery, stillbirth, severe maternal anemia and low-birth-weigh babies.

The world can be scary. But it is also full of wonderful people who can make a difference. We believe that no one should suffer from preventable diseases because of social, economic or geopolitical circumstances beyond their control. We believe that women and children are often the first victims of poverty and, more often than not, treated as little more than collateral damage. We know we can do our part to change that on a daily basis.
